Uma Aventura Na Lagoa - I

Well, this was quite a challenge!
We started the hike just after lunch. At first this looked like an easy hunt. But soon we found out that the shoreline arround the lake is so complex that we kept arriving to dead-ends with only water around us!
After about 2 hours we finaly found the first cache, and took a short break.
We set out to find the second cache, but the terrain is so dificult and the shoreline so misleading, that we kept missing the cache. As it was geting late in the afternoon (sunset is 5:30 PM), we went back to the car.
Decided to find the second cache, we came back early in the morning of the next day and, despite the heavy rain, finaly found the cache at about 9:30.

Yes! My first cache log! After failling the first two times, I decided to try another cache, to improve my morale. It worked! There are really hidden treasures all over. 
The location is great, and there was hardly anyone there, at 8am. 
I did take a peek into the hint, before it would get too crowded, as it did by 9h30am.
Finalmente! Depois de falhar as minhas primeiras duas tentativas, decidi tentar outra cache, para melhorar o meu moral. Funcionou! Há mesmo tesouros escondidos por aí!
O local é óptimo e pelas 8h da manhã, ainda estava bastante livre.
Antes que o local ficasse cheio de gente, acabei por espreitar a dica. Pelas 9h30, já andava por lá demasiada gente.

I was using an old garmin GPS and it was kind of hard to get a fix while I was climbing from downtown to the cache place. Too many tall buildings as well blocking the signal. Once I got there, it was really easy getting to the place (and knowing it was the place, since I got a very accurate lat/lon reading) but I got a little puzzled since I was expecting a physical cache instead of a virtual one. Guess I should have read the description better before.
I live really close to this place and I've been there for a dozen times and it was the real first time I got there (the cache spot). I guess you never know how much more can you learn from what you think you've aquired.

Foi espectacular, mas o que teve mais piada foi o nosso amadorismo e como começamos por procurar em todo o lado excepto no sítio mais óbvio...os meus parabéns ao geocacher que a colocou, tanto pela cache em si e pela informação que ela guarda como pelo local que é magnífico!
Fica o registo das fotos do David do passeio em ´si que foi muito bom. Andámos bastante mas não é nada a que não estejamos habituados!
Uma excelente cache para me estrear, sem dúvida!
Deixei um chapéu e trouxe o guarda jóias.
Há muito lixo por lá...como não ìamos prevenidos para isso vai ter que ficar para a próxima, que será em breve!:)

Foi a nossa primeira cache! À noite com um frio de rachar e com uns amigos nossos mais batidos nestas andanças!!! Foi muito divertido!

- Olá amigos. Esta foi a minha primeira cache encontrada (sou um principiante). Mas gostei muito do local e depois de determinar as coordenadas da cache dirigi-me até ao provável "alvo"... e após alguma "procura" lá estava ela.
Já conhecia o mosteiro e as redondezas, pois passo lá quase todos os dias, mas foi um belo passeio
