"Existe também uma pequena cascata existente antes de chegar ás casas, e onde nasce também outra água medicinal(e que tem um cheiro estranho). Esta, designada pelos populares por "Fonte das Chagas" diz-se ser boa para sarar cortes e feridas.
Existia antigamente a tradição das pessoas da zona, de na altura do São João, tomarem um banho na fonte. Ainda hoje nesta altura algumas pessoas se deslocam lá para passar a noite. Diz o povo também que no século XIII D. Sancho II passou por lá, assim como no ano de 1495 foi visitada pelo rei D. João II, na sua visita ao concelho."

Esta cache é BRUTAL 
. Inesquecível . Foi uma das melhores caches que já fiz até hoje . O trajecto por cima das ribeiras é espectacular, mesmo quando se enfia um pé numa poça que parecia relva 
.
Foi uma grande aventura, mesmo como eu gosto .
Os últimos 40 metros assustaram-me um bocadinho 
. Também, só ainda tenho 10 anos 
. No início comecei por esperar cá em baixo pelo log-book, mas depois enchi-me de coragem e subi até ao alto. Sozinho . Estava a ver que não chegava lá, mas consegui, e sem ajuda . Senti-me muito feliz e satisfeito por ter conseguido. Adorei!! TFTC. TNLN.

Found it TorgutOh yessssss! Very close to the ultimate geocaching experience, at least kind of experience available to the average geocacher. Very good, well planned cache in a perfectly choosed spot.
It's not an easy one, yet, anyone will be able to get it. I mean, it doesn't requires special abilities like diving or climbing. A fairly long walk, with an amazing environment, leading to the cache area, which is the perfect conclusion to the stroll. There, one will find a magical place, full of stories to tell, and, again, surrounded by a beautifull atmosphere.
We had tons of fun, seeking this perfect cache in a perfect Saturday afternoon. We had planned four caches for this day but just "made" two: this one and another pearl - Caldas de Monchique.
Again, congratulations for one of my favorites ever. By the way, left my "diabetes travel bug", who wants to go to a small village in India. I think such a remote cache is a good location for a TB with such a remote mission.
By the way, I can forgive Alças for taking away from me this FTF, but not that he took the TB with him ! It was me who brought that fellow from Ireland to Portugal, almost a year ago! Buahhhhh ! I want him back! :-)
